Joe Clifton Zumwalt, the son of Joe W. and Roxie (Wright) Zumwalt, was born on June 26, 1974 in Lampasas, Texas. He passed away on June 2, 2012 at Brodstone Memorial Hospital at the age of 37 years, 11 months, 9 days.
Joe attended school in Sweetwater, Roby, and Dallas Texas and Blue Rapids, Kansas.
He was united in marriage to Trisha Runyan on June 27, 2003 at Nelson, Nebraska.
He loved to go fishing, spending time with his dogs, aka the kids, Tank and Bella and just hanging out with family and friends. He was a member of the Hardy Volunteer Fire Department . His favorite music was anything by AC/DC and he was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.
He was preceded in death by one son, Joe W. (Baby Joe) Zumwalt.

Services will be at Megrue-Price Funeral Home, Superior, Nebraska on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 2 pm with Pastor Roger Walls officiating.
The burial will be at White Rock Cemetery, near Republic, Kansas.
Memorials may go in care of the family and the family has requested casual dress for the funeral.
Visitation: From 9:00 am-8:00 pm on Wednesday at the Megrue-Price Funeral Home. |
